Children

Service

Sunday 10:00 AM | 9090 W Oak St, zionsville, IN 46077

As we minister to the children that God has placed under our care, we seek to guide them to know the glory of God as seen in His perfect character and as revealed in His Son, Jesus Christ. Recognizing that God has given parents the primary responsibility for the spiritual instruction and discipline of children, we partner with families in the process of teaching and training children in hope that they will one day, "put their confidence in God" (Psalm 78:7).

Security

Zionsville Fellowship utilizes KidCheck secure check-in system. All volunteers are background checked through Sterling Volunteers and are invited to serve after they have been at ZF for six months.

The nursery is available fifteen minutes prior to the worship service, and prompt child-pickup following the service is appreciated.

Preschool

After the first portion of our Sunday morning gathering, preschool children (ages 2-PreK) are invited to Sunday School class. We ask that parents please quickly escort preschoolers at this time. If you are new to ZF, please check-in at our welcome counter in the center of our lobby. Greeters will direct you to your children's classrooms.

CURRICULUM

We teach from The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. During class your children will enjoy worship music, snacks and age-appropriate Bible teaching that is gospel-centered. We encourage the children to share with their families the lessons they learn each week and to practice their memory verse.

Our desire is that children complete our classes being markedly different for Christ, having experienced the truth and love of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

kindergarten–5th grade

Just prior to the teaching portion of our service, children are dismissed to their Sunday School classes. Parents will need to pick up their children in person and present their guardian tag at the conclusion of our service. Please note that your child's classroom number is printed on your guardian tag.

Our volunteer teachers present a lesson each week from the The Gospel Project® for Kids curriculum from Lifeway. The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
